For a first experience in canoe trip through the Ardèche River gorges, or if you are accompanied by children, we advise you to try the mini-descent of 8 km that you will make in about 2 hours, or the descent of 13 km in 3 hours of navigation, with toboggan, picnic, swimming and crossing under the Pont d’Arc.
Descent particularly suitable for an initiation or if you go with young children.
Playful descent with crossing small rapids and passage under the famous Pont d'Arc.
You can keep the canoe for 2, 3 or 4 hours and enjoy the time for bathing, tanning and picnicking.

Introduce yourself to canoeing or kayaking in a fun way with a state-certified instructor and let yourself be told the fabulous history of the Gorges de l'Ardèche.
The mini descent route requires 1h30 of navigation with its succession of flats and small rapids and passes under the majestic arch of the Pont d'Arc.
If you want to sail with children from 4 years old, master your canoe or kayak by learning the right techniques, discover the fauna, flora and all the richness of the Ardèche Gorges, explore the old coal mines, the dolmens and the remains of the Templars… Navigate with the help of a professional who knows the area perfectly.
A specialist with children, the instructor organizes different activities with them and teaches them in particular how to make soap.
You will leave for around 3 hours on the river to discover exceptional fauna and flora, and will discover the beginnings of the canyon of the Ardèche gorges dug by erosion over millions of years. Awareness of the natural environment, swimming and picnic break.

The guide will provide you with:
- A neoprene wetsuit in the pre-season when the water is still a little cool
- Waterproof container
- Navigation equipment (canoe or kayak, paddle and life jacket)
- Introduction to departure
- And of course all his experience and technique!
You must bring:
- Sportswear suited to the season
- Sports shoes or water shoes with good grip
- A swimsuit + a bath towel
- Cereal bar and water
This descent allows you to discover the beginnings of the Ardèche River Gorges canyon.
Descente very appreciated by all thanks to its flexibility in the organization of your day. Over the first 5 km you will cross the famous toboggans appreciated by everyone, passage under the Pont d'Arc, time for bathing and picnicking.

Shuttle buses from 15 people
Leave your vehicle at Sauze jetty (Saint Martin d’Ardèche), arrival point of your descent.
We runs shuttle buses to Vallon Pont d’Arc to the starting point of your descent. Then you can pick it up directly when you arrive in Sauze at the end of your canoe trip.
Solely for groups over 15 people.
